Yoshi

Meet Yoshi – the boy with soulful blue eyes, cream-brown fur, and a heart full of love despite the cruelty he has endured.

Yoshi’s story is one that will break your heart. He was found dumped in a dangerously busy area, weighing only 1.5kg. His frail body was covered in bruises, and his rescuer was horrified to discover cigarette burns across his skin. The vet suspected he had been tortured. On top of his injuries, Yoshi was also suffering from ringworm and needed urgent, round-the-clock care. He spent an entire month at the vet recovering – and somehow, through it all, he kept his gentle spirit intact. Once he was healthy enough, Yoshi was moved into a foster home where, for the first time, he experienced love and kindness. And what a transformation it’s been.

Yoshi has now fully recovered and has florished into a sweet, affectionate soul. He craves human company and will follow his fosterer around for cuddles and head rubs. He loves watching the world from the window, especially when there are birds outside. His trust in people – even after everything – is nothing short of remarkable. He’s gentle, friendly, and incredibly loving... a true survivor.

He is fully litterbox trained, eats well, and has blossomed in a home environment. Yoshi enjoys the company of female cats, he hasn’t been tested with dogs or children, but given his calm and affectionate nature, he may adapt well with slow introductions and respectful interactions.

After everything he’s been through, Yoshi deserves a peaceful, loving home where he will never be hurt again – only cherished. If you think you could offer Yoshi his furrever home, please contact our page – Clan McCat Scotland: International Cat Rescue – Charity number SC051803
