"I had the absolute best experience I think anyone could have when it comes to adopting over seas. Everyone I talked to was lovely and were super helpful. They definitely helped the process feel less daunting as I got regular updates on how my cats were doing at their foster home. My two boys were delivered this morning in brilliant condition and didn’t seem stressed out at all despite all the traveling they had done in the past couple of days. They are both in great health and are very affectionate. All my questions were answered promptly and I had no problems. If I choose to adopt more cats down the line (depending on circumstances) then I will 100% come back. "I adopted Skye and Storm, as one year old kittens, from Dubai in October. They have settled in so well and very quickly became an invaluable part of the family. They are both so friendly, playful and affectionate! Skye loves playing ‘chase the string’ with my two year old son. They love snuggling together or on our laps and even go under the blankets. It’s really great having a bonded pair they always play together and keep each other company when I am out. I love them both so much and couldn’t imagine life without them now. "I adopted a blind kitten from Saudi and the 9livesScotland team were fantastic. They gave me support through the adoption process and it has continued after my kitten arrived. I had regular video updates and the team here and also staff at the rescue centre were always available for questions. I was included in various WhatsApp groups for other adopters like the one for blind cats where we can all help each other and share stories and photos. I was constantly updated during her journey and DL Pet Travel were amazing picking up 11 cats from Heathrow and taking them to there new homes. The whole experience has been amazing and the team made everything go to plan perfectly. I can't rate them high enough. I now have a beautiful little kitten who who is snuggled in the crook of my arm as I speak. There were so many wonderful people doing incredible work to get this tiny little ball of fluff from a terrible situation on the streets in Saudi to my living room. I would recommend adopting through 9Lives Scotland 100%. It's not just about rehoming cats this charity genuinely cares about ever single one"

I was so lucky to find this organisation. I now have a beautiful (blind) long haired tortoiseshell adopted from North Macedonia. Before she came to me she was very well socialised in a lovely foster home and has settled in without trouble with my other cats. 9-lives does great work, I’m glad to continue to support them

I took a cat from abroad but due to circumstances out of my control, he needed rehoming shortly after he arrived.
ClanMcCat were very helpful in finding a perfect new owner for him. I was so impressed with their care and professionalism. They are a rescue society to trust, and do a wonderful job to place the right cat with the right owner.

Clan McCat Scotland made the whole process of adopting from abroad so simple and pleasurable. They provided comprehensive information at the beginning and I was kept well informed of my cats well-being throughout the process. My contact with the cats rescuer meant I knew so much about my cats individual personalities and quirks that I knew exactly what to expect. It's lovely to communicate with other adopters and rescuers via our whatsapp group so everyone can answer queries, share tips and provide updates. This charity works so hard to rescue neglected and abandoned cats and they genuinely care about all their furry charges. I now have two beloved, happy, healthy, affectionate cats from Bahrain who settled in so quickly. I cannot recommend adopting from and supporting the Clan highly enough. A huge thanks to all involved!
