Velvet

Meet VELVET – a soft, gentle beauty with striking blue eyes and a luxurious brown and cream coat that matches her name perfectly. With her calm nature and gentle soul, she’s the kind of cat who just melts into your arms—and your heart.

Velvet’s story began in the cruelest way. When her owners discovered she was pregnant, they threw her out onto the streets of Bahrain. Alone, frightened, and completely unequipped to survive, Velvet had no idea how to find food or stay safe. She wasn’t a street cat—she had known comfort once—and her shy, timid personality made her especially vulnerable. Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer found her before it was too late and brought her into safety.

Since then, Velvet has blossomed into the sweetest lap cat with the loveliest personality. She absolutely adores her humans and can’t get enough love or lap-time. Whether it’s curling up beside you or soaking in a long cuddle session, she craves love, cuddles, and closeness with her trusted humans. It’s remarkable how deeply she still trusts people, despite having been so terribly let down. Her resilience is a testament to her gentle and loving nature.

Velvet is a calm girl who would thrive in a peaceful, quiet home. She can be startled by loud noises or chaos, so she would do best in a quieter household where she can relax and feel safe. Older children who understand her need for gentleness would be fine, and she gets along with other calm, friendly cats. Dogs, however, are a bit too much for her.

After everything this lovely girl has been through, she deserves a forever family that will never let her down again – a home where she will be treasured, safe, and adored.
