Meet Twix

Some cats survive. Others inspire.

Twix was rescued from the streets as a young kitten after someone had wrapped a bandage so tightly around his leg that it cut off his circulation. By the time he was found, his leg was painfully swollen, and there were fears it might need to be amputated. Thanks to urgent veterinary care, months of treatment and a whole lot of determination, he made a full recovery.

Just when life seemed to be looking up, Twix faced another challenge. A severe ear infection left him with a very slight head tilt that remains today. It doesn’t affect his quality of life in the slightest—he runs, jumps, plays and zooms around just like any other cat. In fact, you probably wouldn’t even notice it in photos.

Despite everything he’s overcome, Twix has remained one of the sweetest boys you could ever hope to meet. He’s incredibly affectionate, loves following his humans from room to room and simply wants to be wherever you are. His gentle nature has also made him one of Chess’s very best friends. While they’re both perfectly happy to be adopted separately, they’d make an incredible pair for anyone hoping to welcome two cats into their home.

After everything he’s survived, Twix is finally ready for the one thing he’s never truly had—a forever family to call his own.
