Meet Tuxina – Our Brave Little Survivor

Tuxina once had a family of her own. But when they decided to travel, she was left behind… abandoned to survive on the streets alone.

For many long months, Tuxina struggled outside. Other cats attacked her often, leaving her not only physically weak, but emotionally wounded too. By the time she was rescued, her gentle heart had been through more than any cat ever should. And yet… despite everything, Tuxina still loves people.

She feels safe with humans. She trusts us. She leans in for affection and, in the right home, she becomes beautifully cuddly and a little clingy — the kind of lap cat who just wants to be close to her person. She enjoys playing with toys and interacting with her humans too.

Because of her past, Tuxina is still very afraid of other cats. She truly believes they will hurt her again. For that reason, she is searching for a quiet, calm home where she can be the only pet — a peaceful space where she can finally relax, feel protected, and let her sweet heart fully heal.

She doesn’t ask for much. Just safety. Understanding. Patience. And love.
