Meet Shams & Lata – Double the Joy, Double the Love 💛

Shams and Lata are a bonded pair currently in foster in Halifax, UK, after their owner could sadly no longer keep them. Though their journey has taken an unexpected turn, they’ve found comfort in each other’s company and are now ready to find a forever home together.

Shams, with his soft cream coat, is the confident love bug of the pair. He’s a sweet, clingy boy who adores human attention and loves being picked up and cuddled. If you love affectionate cats, he’ll be your shadow, always close by for strokes and companionship. Despite a rough start Shams takes everything in stride, he’s calm, patient, and ever-trusting — a little extra care for a whole lot of love in return.

Lata, his gentle tabby companion, is the quieter soul of the duo. Shy at first, she takes her time to feel safe, but once she does, her playful and affectionate nature shines. She loves her food (wet and dry!), adores rubbing against your legs, chasing toys, and will keep you company at bedtime by curling up on your feet. She’s not overly cuddly, but she’s a sweetheart who simply needs time and kindness to truly blossom.

Together, Shams and Lata are perfectly balanced — the confident cuddler and the thoughtful observer, each bringing out the best in the other. They play, rub against each other, and explore side by side, offering each other comfort and companionship every step of the way.
