We would like to introduce this sweet boy NINO, who was surrendered to the shelter as an adult cat. He was being fed by an expat family outdoors but unfortunately the family had to leave Manama, Bahrain.

NINO has been in foster care for almost a year. At first a volunteer took him in as he has a very clingy personality and she felt that the shelter was not the best fit for such an affectionate cat. Afterwards, another lady reached out who needed an emotional support animal. NINO was the perfect fit and worked his magic beautifully. It is now his turn to find a forever family of his own.

NINO is an extremely affectionate and loving cat, with a playful personality. He loves his lap cuddles and is very affectionate. His nickname was clingy at the shelter because he loves

being around humans and would often cling to the volunteers at the shelter. NINO also has a playful side and likes to play with different kinds of toys. NINO would be the perfect companion for someone who is looking for a cat that shows them a lot of love.

NINO is an all-black cat and that is why we have struggled finding him a home locally. Black cats have awesome loving personalities despite the stigma behind them.

NINO was introduced to a kitten and they got along. There is hope that with careful and proper introductions Nino would accept sharing his space with other cats.
