Meet Lumi, a little star whose name means light — and that’s exactly what she brings wherever she goes. With her dazzling blue eyes and heart full of love, Lumi reminds us that beauty and joy can shine brightest through resilience.

Lumi’s story began on the streets of North Macedonia during the height of the Covid pandemic. Life was unkind to her there — she lost her tail and her hearing — but never her spirit. Against the odds, she survived, healed, and found safety through the kindness of rescuers who saw the spark in her.

Today, Lumi is the very picture of happiness. She’s funny, affectionate, and adores being close to her humans. If she could, she’d spend every night curled up beside you, purring softly in her sleep. Her deafness doesn’t slow her down — she’s wonderfully expressive, reading your movements and

returning every bit of love she’s given.

Lumi would prefer to be the only cat in her home, where she can soak up all the affection she deserves. She’s never met dogs, but she’s very comfortable with children and thrives in a gentle, loving environment. For the right family, she’ll be the most loyal little companion, wrapping your heart around her paw from the moment you meet.
