Meet Georgina — an enchanting one-eyed diva with a heart full of love

When Georgina was first spotted outside a pet shop, nobody realised just how much she needed help. A rescuer had initially been trying to catch a different white cat, but fate had other plans. After a week of patient efforts, Georgina was finally brought to safety — and it quickly became clear that she was the one who truly needed rescuing.

Suffering from a severe eye infection and painful dental issues, Georgina was taken straight to the vet. Examination revealed that her damaged eye had likely suffered an old injury, causing it to lose function and shrink. Although she is blind in that eye, her remaining eye is healthy, and today Georgina is thriving.

Now this beautiful fluffy girl is living her best life. She adores human attention and will happily lean in for head rubs, chin scratches, and cuddles whenever they’re offered. While she isn’t a lap cat, she loves being close to her people and has perfected the art of making sure all eyes are on her. Georgina knows she’s special — and she’s absolutely right.

When it comes to other cats, Georgina prefers her personal space. She can happily coexist with another calm, respectful cat and would also be suitable to live with an FIV-positive companion. Like many cats who have had a difficult start in life, she can become uncomfortable if other cats invade her space and may give a warning swat, but she is not aggressive and does not seek conflict. She could also be perfectly content as the only cat in the home where she can enjoy all the attention for herself.

Her favourite things include wet food, chicken, sunny windowsills, and being admired for the stunning girl she is.
