Meet Abbsi – a gentle soul with a friendly nature and a heart full of love 🖤🤍

Abbsi’s story is one of heartbreak and resilience. Once part of a family, he developed a urinary tract infection that caused him to drip urine. Instead of helping him through it, his owner took him back to the vet with instructions to put him to sleep — simply because they didn’t want him anymore.

Thankfully, the vet refused to give up on him. Abbsi was kept on urinary treatment and spent six long months in a cage, recovering but waiting. His condition has left a lasting effect — he still drips urine sometimes especially when he’s stressed — but his rescuer couldn’t bear the thought of him living the rest of his life caged. She took him under her wing, determined to give this sweet boy the chance he truly deserves.

Abbsi doesn’t let his condition hold him back. He is a playful, affectionate cat who loves to sit on a lap and soak up cuddles. Bird-watching is one of his favourite pastimes, and he’s always up for playtime with balls, his laser pointer, or climbing his cat tree. With his soft fluffy coat, amber eyes, and endearing pink nose, he’s every bit as beautiful as he is gentle.

This cuddly boy needs an understanding forever home — one that won’t give up on him, but instead offers patience, love, and the chance to live outside of a cage. In return, Abbsi will give you all the affection, companionship, and joy you could hope for. He truly deserves to be cherished for who he is.

If you think you could offer Abbsi his happily ever after, please contact our page – Clan McCat Scotland: International Cat Rescue – Charity number SC051803.
